Workshops 2024
Welcome to workshops and courses for 2024. You do not need a wheel to create beautiful pottery (Please note I do not run throwing sessions). Much satisfaction can be gained by creating your own hand built and decorated ware. Sessions are informative, creative and hopefully fun. We work in small groups of no more than 4 people, giving individuals plenty of space and attention. Prices include materials and firings, however if it is a large piece of work which takes up a considerable amount of kiln space, there will be an extra, negotiable, charge for firing.

“Mary’s pottery workshops are excellent! Initial sessions give a sound grounding in hand building techniques and from this, we have the opportunity to develop our own creativity and ideas through individual projects. The studio space is wonderful to work in. Everyone is made to feel comfortable in working at their own level and pace. Mary helps each student in turn to frame ideas and is on hand to offer timely advice and support. In addition, we are surrounded by examples of Mary’s work which could not fail to inspire us!”
